This page covers a wide variety of services available to people in Australia which are not covered on other pages in the 4S website. For instance, Youth issues and Advocacy are two issues which have special pages, and so are not covered on this page.

The idea behind this page is to look at the many services available across the nation with an eye to how they might relate specifically to people with Mental Health problems. For instance, how does Centrelink assist people with Mental Illness? What do the Commonwealth & State Education Departments have which assist people with Mental Illness? Does the Office for the Status of Women have anything to say about Mental Health? Is there any special Housing opportunities for people with Mental Illness? Where are the different services for Mental Health Carers in relation to Community Services across Australia?... and so on

Hopefully, this page will help you link up with services which might help you and yours, as well as give advocates and policy makers ideas about how things are being done differently in different states, as there can be wide variations in the types and styles of services available.
